I almost called this list “salads for breakfast,” but to avoid the image of a leafy, light, and unfilling meal, I guess I’d rather not call it that. That being said, these 20 breakfast bowls are super healthy!

Who knew a non salad could be so good for you? This list has it all, from sweet smoothie bowls that are a party in your mouth to savory egg bowls that are basically a hug in a bowl.

And they’re all really filling. So filling, in fact, that you might not even need your mid morning snack!

1. Breakfast Bacon Bread Bowls

I always thought bread bowls were just for soup, but wow, these are a total game-changer. They’re like personal little breakfast quiches, only way more fun and packed with so much more goodness.

You stuff these miniature rolls with everything you could want: bacon, melty cheese, onions, eggs, and spices. The amount of flavor in each little mouthful is just unbelievable.

If you haven’t tried these, you need to. I have a feeling they’ll become one of your top breakfast favorites in no time.

2. Acai Bowl

Looking for a cool and refreshing start to your day? Please meet the acai bowl. This mostly frozen wonder is such a beautiful way to wake up, and it’s so simple to make.

It’s just milk, yogurt, and frozen acai puree, and then you can go wild with whatever toppings you want, like fruits, berries, nuts, or granola.

You can have it ready in just a few minutes, and it’s super easy to scale the recipe up for the whole family.

3. Savory Oatmeal with Bacon, Eggs, and Cheddar

If you want a breakfast bowl that’s full of traditional morning favorites, this one is for you. It brings together all the breakfast staples—bacon, eggs, cheese, and oatmeal—into one bowl of pure deliciousness.

Seriously, it’s so good. Just don’t forget to add the chives; for me, they really complete the whole dish.

4. Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

For those mornings when you’re rushing to get out the door, you need a breakfast that’s quick, nutritious, and tastes amazing. Good news: you can whip up this smoothie bowl in five minutes flat!

All you need is a frozen banana, a cup and a half of strawberries, and a half-cup of unsweetened coconut milk.

Just throw it all in a blender until it’s smooth, pour it into a bowl, and top with more berries, chia seeds, banana slices, or whatever else your heart desires. It’s a sweet and speedy way to start the day.

5. Caramelized Banana Oatmeal

If you’re a fan of oatmeal and bananas, you just can’t beat this recipe. It is so wonderful. Better yet, it uses no refined sugar, needs only six ingredients (not counting toppings), and you can have it on the table in about 25 minutes!

If you know how to cook oatmeal, you can make this one with no problem at all.

6. Raspberry Breakfast Bowl

I’m a total sucker for dishes that are colorful and beautiful, and this breakfast bowl is definitely both. It takes about 15 minutes to pull together, and I make it way more often than I should just because it’s so pretty.

It’s also incredibly yummy, combining the tropical fruitiness of mangoes, peaches, and raspberries with the sweetness of honey and light coconut milk.

The texture is smooth and creamy, and the chia seeds and granola I add on top make me feel like I’m doing something great for my body. It’s a win-win!

7. Savory Breakfast Bowl

This recipe brings together potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, avocado, eggs, and feta cheese. But the best part about a savory breakfast bowl is that you can fill it with pretty much anything you like.

Some mornings, I toss in a little ground sausage. Other days, I’ll leave out the salsa and avocado and use leftover dinner meat to create more of a hash-style bowl. It’s your breakfast; make it exactly how you want it.

8. Breakfast Burrito Bowl

If a savory start to your morning is what you’re after, you have to try this breakfast burrito bowl. You’ll begin with a base of perfectly seasoned rice and then add all your favorite toppings.

You can go as heavy or as light as you want. Personally, I like to load it up with everything—salsa, guacamole, black beans, corn, peppers, sour cream, cheese, you name it. A couple of fried eggs on top makes it complete.

9. Cinnamon Apple Yogurt Bowls

This is one of my absolute favorite recipes for the fall. It’s like a healthier, guilt-free way to enjoy apple pie without actually eating one. It’s also really easy to make.

Just simmer your apples, sugar, raisins, and water for about 16 to 18 minutes, then add cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor.

Once it’s ready, pour the mixture over your yogurt and top it with more cinnamon, a few apple slices, and some nuts for extra crunch. It’s the perfect treat.

10. Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl

As much as I love the cinnamon apple yogurt bowls, these are on another level. They’re also like having apple pie for breakfast, but with the added creaminess of frozen bananas.

A lot of people who try this smoothie bowl say it reminds them more of a caramel apple from the fair than an apple pie. Either way, it’s 100% apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg goodness.

And the best part? It’s ready in five minutes or less! You just can’t top that.

11. Fruit and Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

I adore this bowl because I can load it up with all my favorite tropical fruits and berries. The result is a beautiful, vibrant breakfast bowl that’s ready to go in just 10 minutes.

12. Chocolate Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

This one takes a little longer to prepare, around 30 minutes, but if you’re a chocolate lover, it’s definitely worth a try.

It blends the light, earthy notes of toasted quinoa, almond, and coconut milk with the rich sweetness of dark chocolate, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. There’s even a dash of sea salt for a nice contrast.

13. Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Bowl

Filled with potassium, vitamin C, protein, and healthy fats, this smoothie bowl will have you feeling energized and ready for the day in no time.

Plus, it’s incredibly easy to make. Just remember to freeze your banana the night before. The next morning, all you have to do is blend everything, pour it into a bowl, and add your favorite toppings.

14. Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal

Looking for a healthy, vegan-friendly, and gluten-free dish that’s high in fiber and ready in 10 minutes? This peanut butter banana oatmeal is your answer.

Seriously, my mouth waters just looking at it. The cinnamon oatmeal creates a warm, thick base.

Once you stir in the peanut butter and top it with bananas, chia seeds, and a sprinkle of sea salt, it becomes a meal you won’t want to skip. A drizzle of maple syrup over the top adds a touch of sweetness that is just perfect.

15. Guacamole and Egg Breakfast Bowl

My kids call this one “salad for breakfast,” and I don’t correct them because it’s a pretty good description! You start with a bed of baby spinach, then add diced red onions, chopped toast, sour cream, eggs, guacamole, and seasonings.

It really is like having a salad for breakfast, but it tastes fantastic and is ready in just 10 minutes.

16. Granola and Yogurt Bowls

Here’s another five-minute recipe for those of us who are always in a hurry in the mornings. There’s no cooking required at all. You just start with a base of yogurt and pile on all the goodies.

There are a few different versions, including a raspberry chocolate bowl, a peanut butter and jelly bowl, a triple berry bowl, and a tropical bowl. Go wild and try them all!

17. Cowboy Breakfast Bowls

This rugged, country-style breakfast takes about 35 minutes to prepare and has everything a cowboy could ask for.

The combination of crispy bacon, cheesy potatoes, garlicky eggs, and avocado is just excellent.

18. Green Smoothie Bowl

This green smoothie bowl recipe has it all. It’s gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian- and vegan-friendly, and even works for a paleo diet.

On top of that, it’s lovely and full of vibrant color. It has a fantastic tropical flavor and is packed with things that are good for you, so you can indulge without any guilt.

19. Avocado Breakfast Bowl

Avocado breakfast bowls take about 20 minutes to make, and they are so worth it. They are loaded with protein and are a savory, garlicky, and tasty morning treat.

It’s like a whole breakfast plate—avocado, greens, eggs, and bacon—all in one dish. Just don’t forget the Everything But the Bagel seasoning. That’s the secret ingredient that brings all the flavor together.

20. Cheddar Grits Breakfast Bowl

This is the grits dish for anyone who thinks they don’t like grits. Once you add all the extra toppings—salsa, eggs, onions, and cheese—you won’t even notice the grits underneath.

Best of all, it only takes about 30 minutes to prepare.
